Ken Haseley

Founder and principal,
Corner Suite Communications

Ken founded Corner Suite Communications to help executives and others develop what is often ranked as the number one key to success in business – the ability to communicate effectively. His work with C-suite execs includes coaching them on their financial communication skills for earnings calls and analyst presentations. His clients include many Fortune 500 firms, and he has worked with the world’s largest energy company as it prepared for its 2019 initial public offering. Ken has a loyal following among the C-suite executives he coaches.

His corporate affiliations have included Occidental Petroleum where he worked in communications and investor relations. During 1982, he was on loan to the Reagan Administration in Washington, DC where he served as a speechwriter.

A graduate of Kent State University, Ken has a Bachelor of Science degree in communications and government. Additionally, he holds an MBA from the University of Dallas.

He has lectured at MIT’s Sloan School of Management, served as a visiting professor at Ivanovo State University in Russia, and developed and teaches Communications for Leaders in the Executive MBA Program at the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston.

Ken’s first book (Change the Way You Communicate: Why You Should. How You Can.) was published in 2021. Book #2 (Oh No, Not PowerPoint! Relax, Help Is on the Way. A PowerPoint Repair Manual) was released in 2024. His articles and speeches have appeared in a variety of publications, including Fortune, Investor Relations Update, Vital Speeches of the Day, Moscow Times and the Houston Business Journal.

After Hours

Ken’s interests include sailing his 33-foot “Connecticut Yankee” and driving his ’59 and ’65 Corvettes. Those cars don’t have names, but if they did, they’d be Tod and Buz – a tip of the hat to the two lead characters who traveled the country in a Corvette in the ‘60s TV show Route 66.
